Order contents, statuses, prices and addresses are managed by Shopify customer accounts and cannot be edited in the theme. This template applies to classic customer accounts; with new customer accounts Shopify hosts order pages itself, including tracking and self-serve returns.
Best practices
Keep the back link obvious
Customers usually open several orders in a row. A short, literal back label keeps that loop fast.
Match the dashboard scheme
Use the same color scheme as the Account Dashboard so the order card looks like the one they clicked.
Test with discounts and tax
Preview an order that had a discount code and shipping to see every totals row rendered.
Point support to this page
Because it shows fulfillment status per line, it answers “where is my order” before customers email you.
